The golem's storm has passed.
There have been some quota problems during the first hours of peak traffic. Thanks to AJAX, this was almost invisible for the users. The traffic has slowly decreased, and now, this is calm.
I made some small optimizations in the server-side code to consume less CPU.
This new kind of users was encouraging. Since now, this was mappers, who know how to map. This recent traffic was essentially non-mappers adding information in plain text about their own knowledge (name of street, restaurant, etc.). Near 1000 bugs have been put in the last 24 hours (essentially in Germany). Now, we've got a lot of work to correct them! :-)
After the storm.

This wasn't a problem to you if you'd mentioned how to map. There is no hint weather i should insert every tram-station or just wrong named streets and so on.
It would be nice to have more specific buttons to mark errors, hint for metadata like names oder one way streets or just to hint for restaurants.
Hello
The first idea to know what hints to give is to look at what is rendered on the maps (there are two main maps. the rendering is not the same).
For example, if a street is blank on high zoom, that could mean that the name of the street is missing.
If a one-way street doesn't have little arrows, that means that the "oneway" tag is missing for this street.
Etc.
This is also interesting to look at other big cities, and not only in your own country, to see what can be put on the map.
If you are not sure about the exact position of something (a restaurant for example ?), do not put a bug about it, or specify you're not sure about the exact position.
The second way to know what can be put on a map is to look at this page :
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Map_Features
The response to this question :
"i should insert every tram-station or just wrong named streets"
is
"everything"
or
"Try different kind of bug suggestions and look if someone correct them on the map. Maybe, a mapper will ask you for further precisions."
Cheers,
xav
